Metomet C

Metomet C is a combination of Metoprolol succinate, Metoprolol tartrate, Cilnidipine, Cilostazol, Desmopressin, Hydrochlorothiazide, Olmesartan Medoxomil, Ivabradine, Losartan Potassium, Losartan, and Amlodipine. This tablet comes in the category of antihypertensive medicines and is given to patients suffering from blood pressure problems.

Metoprolol Succinate is a long-acting beta blocker that works on the heart specifically by slowing the heart rate and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Metoprolol Tartrate is a short-acting beta-blocker that also has the same effect. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing blood vessels to lower blood pressure. Cilostazol dilates the blood vessels and reduces platelet stickiness, increasing blood flow to the lower limbs. Desmopressin is a synthetic form of vasopressin that works by causing the kidneys to reabsorb water, thereby controlling excessive thirst and urination.

Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that lowers blood pressure by flushing the body of excess water and electrolytes. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the action of a chemical that normally constricts blood vessels. Losartan Potassium is a blood pressure-lowering angiotensin receptor blocker. Ivabradine is a medication that lowers the heart rate. Amlodipine, on the other hand, is a calcium channel blocker.
